Radio Blacksmith Knoll has received an extension for its broadcasting license — and with it, a bit more muscle. Our transmissions return on Saturday, November 8, 2025, continuing through to the end of January 2026.
Broadcasts will mainly take place on weekends, though the darker season brings with it several exceptions: expect special weekday programs around public holidays and major events, each themed to fit the moment.
There’s also a technical upgrade worth noting. We’re happy to announce that our transmitter can now operate at its full authorized output of 100 watts. The new license allows RBSK to use the station’s total technical power for the first time. Necessary adjustments to the transmission system (raising the power from 50W to 100W) will be completed as this new license period begins.
