We share this frequency with PBS Xinjiang/CNR, TUR (Voice of Turkey) and TDF Digital, the latter of which has a very irregular broadcasting schedule.
Our ability to be heard shifts slightly between HF schedules A and B (Summer/Winter). We keep our TX OnAir for as long as our license allows.
Regarding PBS Xinjiang / CNR, TUR and TDF Digital:
We work to overcome interference caused by the extremely powerful transmitters of CNR, TUR and TDF, which dominate the frequency worldwide, and sometimes we succeed—even with just 100 watts! As for TDF, their powerful digital DRM transmitter in Europe completely destroys the 6120 frequency. Their broadcasts usually last about 30 minutes.
If there’s QRM, QRN, operator unavailability, or an unexpected transmission on the frequency, our broadcast will be canceled without prior notice.
