Our broadcasts include a mix of live segments and produced content such as radio dramas, scripted monologues, and other carefully prepared shows.
When no scheduled programs are on air, the station switches to freeform, unscripted programming. This may include an eclectic and unpredictable mix of music – a world apart from typical playlist radio – curated from our extensive archive of rare, forgotten, and distinctive recordings. At times, depending on current events or operational constraints, there may be periods of silence—a program we would like to name “The Hums of The Carrier Wave.”
Scripted content will be broadcast in each ‘Primary slot’ listed in the schedule, premiering in the morning and replayed in the remaining slots throughout the day.
New episodes of “What Happened On…” are released on the first Saturday of each month, with replays airing in the “Primary slots” the same.
Other programs like “As Seen on TV (FI: Tuttu TV:stä)” and “CBS Radio Mystery Theater” are prepared for airing periodically – please check the Schedule for details.
Please note that although our license allows 24-hour broadcasting, we may not always be on air continuously on the listed days.
More hosted and curated content is in the works and will be added to the schedule in the future.
