Spring time at the station garden

Gardening season begins. Human operator gets dirty hands, station’s own JukeBot DJ takes over. Expect enjoyable surprises and music discovery all weekend.

As summer slowly starts knocking on the door, it’s finally time to head outdoors and see what survived the Finnish winter.

That means one thing at Radio Blacksmith Knoll: gardening season has officially begun.

While the station operator wrestles with plants, pots, soil, and the occasional “this seemed like a good idea in April” moment, this weekend’s soundtrack will be handled by the station’s very own JukeBot DJ.

Instead of a carefully themed programme, JukeBot will wander freely through a growing pile of enjoyable oddities, artists and groups that may not be mainstream, but absolutely deserve a place on the dial. No algorithm chasing trends here, just good music chosen with a sense of curiosity and a slight taste for the unexpected.

In other words: it’s Discovery Time.

You may hear forgotten gems, overlooked favourites, or something that makes you wonder why nobody told you about this artist years ago. Perfect company for a weekend where things grow, hopefully both in the garden and through the speakers.
