Midsummer, Briefly Interrupted

The station is officially on its summer break, which is a carefully maintained tradition involving fresh air, delayed maintenance, and a steadily expanding list of things that will absolutely be dealt with later.

Still, it is Midsummer.

So for this evening, Radio Blacksmith Knoll has quietly put some music on. Nothing grand, no elaborate programme plan, no committee meetings, no laminated schedules. Just a pleasant selection for a bright northern night, a lake somewhere nearby, and the sort of evening in which time appears to have misplaced its watch.

Consider it an informal transmission from the summer recess: the radio equivalent of opening one eye, deciding the weather is too good to ignore, and pressing “play”.

We return properly later in the summer. Until then, if you happen to find us on 6120 kHz tonight, you have caught the station doing very little — with considerable dedication.
